The Vampire Clan Murders

I bought a hardcopy of this book from www.half.com after seeing a 'Dark Heart, Iron Hand' MSNBC Investigates program. This book is about a freak of nature who was in to the Role Playing game Vampire The Masquerade. I guess its sort of like Dungeons & Dragons but with Vampires. Well this guy and all these teenagers he hung out with thought they were some kind of vampire coven. Rod (the Vampire) moved from Florida to Kentucky and found MORE people in Vampire coven. I guess they are all over the place. Well he spent a year or so on the phone with 2 of his coven from Florida, promising to come get them and take them away and help them "crossover". He eventually did. The Vampire and 3 of this Kentucky Coven drove down to Florida. The 2 male "vampires" went in to one of the girls houses and killed her family. They get caught and go to jail a week or so later.

I guess my over all opinion on this book is its good for a true crime story. But it seems like this guy thought he was living in what turned out to be a bad Ann Rice novel.

Hi Mr.Walker,
I am the wife of Scott Anderson, 1 of the 4 so called Murray Vampires. Aphrodite Jones' book was full of lies and half-truths. I can't speak on Rod Ferrell or any of the girls behalves but I can speak on Scott's behalf. I've been married to him for over 4 yrs now and I am close to every member of his family, we've gone through that book and literally highlighted hundreds of half-truths and lies just about Scott alone. And he was the quiet one! Can you imagine how many more must be in there?! Anyway for those who wish to waste their time reading this crap, enjoy. Its written like a boring horror movie story. And for those who want to get some truths, feel free to email me at scott_n_julie81900@yahoo.com I can set some things straight!!
